Rolling Stone Editor Resigning, is the UVA Rape Article the Reason?

The fall out from Rolling Stone’s publication of the now discredited University of Virginia gang rape article continues.

On the heals of lawsuits filed by a University of Virginia dean and students, it has announced  that Rollings Stone’s Managing Editor (Will Dana) will be departing the magazine.  In this report in the New York Times, Will Dana’s departure was not specifically attributed to publication of the article–but is was not refuted as a factor in the decision.
