DOJ Now Has An Online Campus Sexual Assault Resource Center.

The Department of Justice has launched a website for the stated purpose of providing ” … important resources for colleges and universities on sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.”

It has a wide range of information.  Everything from self-assessment tools, safety planning guides, and a guidance package concerning Title IX coordinators, to legal resources and much more.

Campus administrators, including counsel, student affairs personnel, and Title IX coordinators should be aware of this website and its contents. It may serve as a benchmark for how the Office for Civil Rights will expect an institution to respond to an incident of sexual violence and whether the college has taken appropriate proactive measures to educate its community and “change the climate.”
